CANDY CANE 5 GRIDWIDE HUNT

I am so happy to be organizing this hunt for the 5th year in a row! Started out in 2009 with Lynn Pooley and a 3rd friend who bailed on us and we have been bringing it every since. This somehow evolved into being "one of mine" and Lynn has hunts that are "hers" but honestly I still see all of them as "ours" flying under the collective banner that is Kastle/Electric Hunts.

The hunt kicks off at Kastle Rock, moves to Electric, stops by Mohna Lisa Couture then comes my other store, Mirage Arabian Treasure company which also features an exclusive gacha!

The hunt items cost 1L each and every store has gifts for both male and female or unisex and there are 175 participating locations. The holiday SL tradition I call our "festival of stripes" has indeed scaled down this year with no petite path, no candy cane fair, no magazine sponsors... but just the quality gifts youve come to expect from kastle/Electric Hunts. GENRE November BDSM round!

I really tried hard to do some home decor and it just wasnt anything I wanted to put out for sale. Every piece was lame... missing something. So... with an hour to go and BAD asset server issues, I made a leather and spikes corset tank. It is very vanilla in the world of BDSM but I think many might find it a nice addition to their club or regular wardrobe. It will be available for $60L exclusively at Genre. After the round it will come to the main store at regular price (about $195) and never go on sale so grab it now!

Genre October

I'm a little late posting this round of Genre, which is, of course, steampunk! This was quite a challenge as I really love the steampunk theme but always found creating for it so difficult that I refused to apply for Steam (the hunt) after the first 2. My old friend Cara's store, Treasured Cove, had this cool little full perm mesh table for sale so I thought I could work with it. I really wish I had also grabbed the spring chairs as Roawanwood also turned up with the same mesh, and very well done I might add, but they look different enough to make getting both tables a perfectly wonderful idea :)

Dirty Little Secret 4 Hunt

Can you believe my its here again? My lovely and talented friend, Lynn Pooley, brings deliciously sordid fun to the grid for the 4th year in a row and, this year, both KRC and Mirage take part. The hunt begins at Electric and runs until Nov 25th with nearly 100 stops, all only 1L each!

The gift at Mirage I actually hung up in my and Stephan's secret skybox. Lynn called it "adorable" lol. What do you think?

Over at kastle we have a little bit of his-n-hers matching mesh underwear. Sparkly and all for the upcoming holidays ;)

Genre for September

Another round has begun and this month we celebrate the wild west! Due to time constraints from rl, I was unable to make the saloon dresses I had envisioned and was left with very little time to create something. So... I give you a top only :(  Not even any home decor from the Mirage half of things. Its not even a wild west top, more Southwestern.

Mesh and in standard sizing. Only 60L each and in 7 suede colors. Once the Genre round closes on Oct 12, these tops will go to the store at regular price, which will likely be around 125L each. They will not go in the weekend sales.

Eyes Wide Shut Couples Hunt

Brought to you by Lynn Pooley, my favorite person, for Kastle/Electric Hunts (she being the Electric part of that equation) in her exciting and popular line of Dirty Little Secret hunts. (The 5th annual Dirty Little Secret hunt, with no subtheme, will take place in late October if you're one of its many fans)

This hunt embraces the secret lives of couples, as depicted in the Stanley Kubrick movie "Eyes Wide Shut" starring Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman. This film is most noted for its enchanting, dark scenes of Venetian masked, cloaked men in black and Venetian masked, mostly naked women taking part in a sexual secret society. Tom's character, after being told by his wife of how she had nearly cheated on him, explores the idea of cheating, tempts himself with it but, in the end, goes home to his wife. The couple is now stronger.

Being that there were already a ton of masks and cloaks among the hunt gifts, I decided to make a different sort of black robes. Ones you might actually use lol. Find these hidden in our sale room at Kastle Rock Couture for only 1L.
